Rebar

The termite barrier has been sprayed on the ground and topped with a layer of plastic. The rebar work took about two days to install. The first day they completed the footings (beams) and placed them in the trenches. The second day they installed the horizontal beams that go on top dirt in between the forms to ad rigidity to the foundation. Now that the rebar has been layed it is time for the city inspector to inspect the rebar so that the conctrete can be poured. The rebar, termite, and inspection should take 1 week to complete. Once the concrete has been poured, it should sit for 4 to 5 days.
